The snow conditions Saturday were pretty good. It got a little slushy later in the day. Today (Sunday) could be crusty.

It was gusty Saturday. Big lulls and then completely powered up. Gotta be on your toes.

The paper says there is a ice bike race on Calhoun at Noon today. I think I'll stay away. Has anyone been to Swede lately? Maybe I'll check that out instead.

Well, I went out to Wayzeta bay and tooled around. There were a few trucks on the ice, but I wasn't going to be the first to drive out to the island. There was some nice fresh stuff right near the parking lot.

That's funny. I seem to have no problem getting the kite to land upside down. At least when I don't want it to! That was an issue for me at Milly on Saturday.
