Hi
My luck is not always that good, but it is amazing what kind of things you can see out on a day of windsurfing.

I didn't eat the fish, but in its last second of life I think the Bass was smiling to be the only fish to go windsurfing and finally get that lure out of his mouth.

Fishing and windsurfing

Last Monday I was windsurfing and when I was out in the middle of the lake I noticed a Large Mouth Bass on its side with the fin moving a little. And as I got closer I noticed a nice big Rapala in its mouth. So I turned my board around and layed down the sail and swam out to get him. I think the Bas...

Thanks

Hi, Is Malma at Mills lake? Never been there, but want to sail. Also, how is the water level on the lake, is it high. I can't wait for some of the water levels on some lakes and rivers to drop.

Can the weatherman replace the rain clouds for a windy cloud

I have noticed that on the weather page there is a rain cloud picture for each day. Can someone call them to replace the rain cloud for a windy cloud. I don't know about you guys, but all the dry ditches around here have moving water. I can't beleive how much rain we have been getting. Our pet ducks...

The Mexican food was good, thanks for invite.
I learned a lesson on that lake, roll up all your car windows before you go out on the water. My truck is all covered inside of a layer of dirt. I was thinking about planting corn in the back seat.
It was a great day though.

What a great day at Cannon. It was my first time there and everything was perfect. High winds, warm water, and going faster than I really wanted to. It was great to meet a bunch of you guys and I hope to sail with you all again.

Hi
I will try to be there on Saturday to go windsurfing.
Will you be going to the point or park side?
Pete would be the best one to ask for kiting on Pepin.

Hi Thanks for the reply. Those weeds can sure grow fast on a lake, and if you fall in, you can get tangeled up very quick. I think the Curtis fin you mentioned would be great. If anyone has a used Weed fin with a regular base for sale, let me know, otherwise I will order one from the House. Also if ...

question on weed fins

My favorite lake for South East winds just got weeded. It was Lake Winona. It only took a week of nice weather and the weeds are at the surface. :( Not sure if a weed fin will work. If someone uses weed fins, and the weeds are hitting the top of the water, would it still work. How much weeds is to m...

Hey, thanks a lot guys. At the swap, a nice man ( forgot his name) gave me some sails with rips in them and said to use as spare parts, but I want to fix up the sail and use them.

So if you see some guy sailing around with a lot of tape on his sail, that will be me.

HAve a good day.

What is the best way to fix ripped sails?

I have seen some use tape, what kind of tape would you recommend?

Some of my sails are old and would like to fix them up myself and not spend much money, and wondering if anyone has any hints to share.

Hi I and another person sailed Lake Winona, and we were sailing 6.5 sails. We would watch the water as the gust came, and had to be ready for them or get bucked off. The wind would go from 5 to 28 mph sometimes. And at times our sail would almost almost do a 360. We had some great rides though. It w...

Thank you. I have a Bic Samba that I want to replace and get a board to sail in 10 to 15 , or light to medium winds. I can't make up my mind of I should get a Bic Techno 283 or the Bic Techno 264 Pro or CTS. To many choices. I am 5'7 and 150 pounds and have been sailing a long time. For higher winds...

Does anyone own a techno 2 264, would like to talk.

Hi, I would like to ask some questions to someone that my own a Techno 2 264. I am thinking of buying one and would like to know if you own a CTS or Pro version, and what sails and fins you like with it. Not sure what version to buy? Thank you.
