I have seen some use tape, what kind of tape would you recommend?
Some of my sails are old and would like to fix them up myself and not spend much money, and wondering if anyone has any hints to share.
What is the best way to fix ripped sails?

I use heavy duty 3M packing tape.. as far as I can tell, this stuff is
stronger than the sail. You just have to make sure the sail is
completely dry when you put it on and it will last for years. Make sure
you do both sides of the sail and extend past the ends of the rip.
I like to use those wallpaper tools like the plastic smoothers and
seam rollers to really get the tape to adhere.
