Re: Flying Delta with Gear...

Thanks! Golf it is. Since I'm only planning on traveling with one board I found an actual golf travel bag that will fit my board. I'll probably hit play it again and pick up a old club to throw in there too.

Flying Delta with Gear...

Anyone fly Delta with gear recently? Their luggage policy states that a kiteboard is $150 but a wakeboard is the standard checked bag fee. Wondering if I should go the golf bag route or if it's not even necessary since they're not likely to argue that my TT is not a wakeboard.

Re: Ummm...guys?

Very tempting. I've been dying to ride Superior this season. If I leave now I could be there by 3:30. Wind alert is showing a similar graph to NOAA, Winds picking up around 3-4ish. Hmmmm...

You're not exaggerating...Long Island looks amazing! Too bad it's not a bit easier to get too. The easiest way (sans boat) would probably be to kayak from Madeline Island?

Re: Anyone kiting Waconia Friday AM?

If you're still not comfortable riding on water you should definitely head up to Malmo on Mille Lacs if you can. There's not much room at Waconia for figuring things out.

Re: Looks like a Cannon weekend!

I got super skunked today at Clear lake! Arrived around 12:30 with several 10's and 12's out riding. By the time I got pumped and rigged it had totally died off. It was my fault though because I got a new kite and board this week that I have been anxious to try out. Kiteboarding is a cruel mistress ...

Re: Duluth Thursday

Such an amazing day on Superior. Thanks for the heads up Kevin!

I had four nice sessions coming in after each completely exhausted. We're so lucky to live so close to such an amazing spot! Hopefully this fall will be a good one for riding at Park Point.

Sounds amazing, I should have called in sick. Next time.

Mike- Could you share the link you use to check the NOAA Experimental? I haven't been able to find it since the links on the lakawa wind page have expired.

Park Point Tomorrow?

This is what NOAA is showing for Park Point tomorrow but I'm not sure I'm convinced. Anyone see any other positive indications?

That's awesome guys! I live a couple of blocks from there and have always wondered if it was possible. That said, I don't think I'll ever try riding there .

Nice shots Kosk, great view from atop the bluff!

Sunday at the Wac was definitely one of the best days of this season. Everyone was having such a good time!
