I still have this harness at my house and nobody has claimed it. Please check your gear so we can get it back to its happy home.

Did you leave harness at Waconia?
After a great day at Waconia, we found a very lonely harness hanging out at the beach. Please check your gear and let me know if it is yours. It's sad and it wants to go home.

Re: Waconia sunset
What a beautiful night to be on the water at Waconia! Eric, Jim, Marc, Scott, and I were the last off the water at the DNR launch. We just couldn't hang it up while watching the sky change amazing colors 360 degrees around us. Thanks for the video! Anybody know who was taking pictures with the tripo...

Re: 12m or larger as a second kite for beginner quiver
Welcome to site O.P. Personally, I think you are going to want a 12m in your quiver. My 12m definitely gets the most hours on it out of all my kites and I think you would have too big of a gap from your 9 to a 15. In terms of kites, I can tell you that I love my LF Envys. I have a 7m, 12m, and just ...

Re: Blade 17M kite demo
On Saturday I finally got a chance to try the Fat Lady. I woke up hoping for wind and was disappointed to find not much happening during the late morning and early afternoon. I sent Mike a message with a glimmer of hope, but I was surprised to see him respond with, "We are out riding with the B...

Re: Help with T3 below the bar depower
Great tips by the guys above. One last thing though... It really helps to ride slightly down wind when you go to pull the trim line. This takes a bit of tension off the lines and makes it easier to uncleat. I ride mostly Liquid Force kites which have a below the bar depower just like Slingshot and t...

Re: NO GLARE ON D'BEAR!
It was an excellent day on the Bear today. The surface was actually really good when it was sunny out. Although, I did get a nice surprise when I hit a half-buried tire rut which caused me to do an unexpected half front roll. Good times, and a good crew out there, sorry we missed you Jim.

Anybody lose their board in Hood River yesterday?
I saw a post on NWKite that was very interesting. It sounds like a Minnesota kiter lost their board it was snatched up by some fisherman. If you are there, and lost your board, you may want to read this thread...

Found Board at Reddy Creek Today - Claimed
After a great day at Reddy Creek, my dad and I were some of the last ones on the beach. We found a Slingshot Misfit leaning against a tree which looked like it was left behind by accident. It has a Jenn Barnett Photos sticker on the bottom and has Henderson written on it. We couldn't make out the ph...

Re: Tuesday Afternoon
I'm with Mike, today was really good. It was a nice little crew at Calhoun that showed up. Sorry, I didn't say hi to many people, I was too busy getting in my first snow kite session of the season!!! The snow surface was really good and there was enough wind to be plenty powered on my little 7m Envy...

Re: WBL wildwood or bellaire
I arrived at WW around 5:30pm and put up a 7m. It was a bit nerve-wracking at first since it was highest wind I have ever kited in, but it turned out to be very manageable. Nice session all the way until sunset with good people all around. Cheers.

Woody, I'm very impressed with your wonderful goal of showing Steven a way to get the adrenaline fix that we all live for. I can't even imagine being in his situation and I can only hope I would have somebody as thoughtful in my life as you are to him. I don't have any advice for how to build the bu...

Re: Kitefish/ straps or strapless?
After reading these posts I think I will get a kitefish, for the light wind days. Do you guys who went for the strapless wakesurf version still think that is the best way to go? Or is it worth forking out the extra $200 and getting the straps? thanks David I just received my strapless Kitefish Tues...

Re: Kitefish
I just went on to the Dick's link and ordered the wakesurf version and it was only $149 plus tax with no shipping. Can't go wrong for that price. I do a lot of wakesurfing - mainly because the wind never seems to blow on the weekends on Ottertail anymore - so I will be interested to see how it work...

Re: Kitefish
After trying out Jim's Kitefish the other day, I decided I needed my own. I was very impressed with it's lightwind capabilities, plus it is just plain fun to ride. It's definitely far from a surfboard, I would almost consider it a skimboard. The only thing I didn't like about it was the straps. I fe...

A New Kite Knife Solution/Creation
After reading a few kitemare stories, I decided to get myself a good kite knife. The more I researched the subject, the more I realized that the Harness knives don't seem to fit the bill very well. After a recommendation from an NW Kite Thread , I ordered the "5 Hook Safety Cutter" from Be...
