Anybody lose their board in Hood River yesterday?

Post by Tim Dunklee »

I saw a post on NWKite that was very interesting. It sounds like a Minnesota kiter lost their board it was snatched up by some fisherman. If you are there, and lost your board, you may want to read this thread...

Randy Lindorff and Kieth Henderson are in Hood River with their kids. I left them both cell phone messages regarding this post. It likely is one of their boards! Thanks for the info.

Jim, I posted your number in the NWKite thread so anybody can call you if they have any more information. Please let me know if you want me to take down your number. Good luck getting your board back!

THANKS FOR POSTING THAT, TIM! I'm back in Seattle, but still haven't heard anything, or gotten a ransom demand. I have Moondog's, contact info, in case of further developments.
Not sure how much effort an old, beat-up board is worth. I'm trying to rationalize that whoever sells it must really have a need for the funds, and who buys it will get a decent board at a good price, & get some good sessions on it. BTW: Mooney used to live out on Waconia before moving to the Gorge..small world.

I remember Moondawg. He'd always bike down to the DNR launch at Waconia if he even got a sniff that there might be a breeze or if someone else was down there and say hello. One of the good guys Phở sure.
