kiters vs Ws

I was also one of the few wind surfers at Ramsey yesterday from 2-5. I agree that kiters seem to need lots of room - this was the first time I found myself "worring" about "what ifs" out there Of course what to do ??? it does seem like Ramsey is NOT a beginer beach on SE/E winds

Thanks for all the input...

It sounds like Clydes can be good on a South .. so is Ferry landing across the river also good on a South in addition to North ??????

It looked like there may be a wind shadow at Ferry ??? - not too bad of one ??

How far south of Hudson is this spot ???

can you explain how to get to Troy Township beach and where one might get a season pass ???

So the wind does not get down on the water at Brown's beach or Ferry landing in Hudson ??

Sailing from Hudson, WI

There seems to be 2 launch sites in Hudson - 1 North of I94 and 1 in North Hudson. When would a guy use either one? Looking for wind direction advice.

Thanks
