Does anyone know if it is safe for vehicles to venture onto the ice at Garrison? Just wondering what access will be like for the Crossing.
Thanks!!

Re: Vintage frenzy opinions
thanks for the info Mike. I am actually trying to sell a 2011 11M frenzy, its in the classifieds...and havent had any serious offers on it, but i have a guy that wants to trade a barely used '06 14M for it. If I was going to trade, I'd rather have your newer FX. You wouldn't be interested would you?...

Vintage frenzy opinions
Hey everybody, looking for some info on older frenzies, specifically the biggest one Ozone made, the 14 meter, say around an '06 model. Anyone have any opinions on them? Any good for light wind or a slow turning dog? I have a guy that wants to trade for one and i have never flown one. Any info would...

Re: Speaking of Gopro....
Yes, thats a cool shot indeed. Im not really sold on the design of that mount. I think Im going to try something a bit different. I might modify one of the flat stick-on mounts and try zip-tieing it onto the x-bridle of my frenzy, it will take some experimenting for sure. Anyone else had had experie...

Speaking of Gopro....
Has anyone used the gopro kitehero mnt? If so, is it worth the $$? I want to try one on my frenzy, but im thinking it probably won't work with the Y line front line setup. Anyone know or know someone that's used it?
thanks

Re: Frenzy vs Manta, looking for pros and cons
Ok, regarding light wind performance, would either kite (frenzy vs manta) have an advantage over the other, given similar sizes? I'm still talking about the '10 models or older, since there doesn't seem to be a lot of people who've used the new ones yet.

Re: Frenzy vs Manta, looking for pros and cons
Ok, this is getting a bit confusing. I was always led to believe that the Frenzy was the slower turning of the two kites, and that the Manta would be less stable, more likely to bowtie or do weird things in gusty conditions. I also figured that the Manta would have more pop and lift since it is fast...

Frenzy vs Manta, looking for pros and cons
Hey all you snowkiters, I have an opportunity to purchase an '09 manta II 10M; I currently own an '09 Frenzy 11M. I'm looking for a comparison between these kites. I've never flown a manta. I like most things about the Frenzy, but find it rather slow turning, otherwise Im pretty happy with it. I kno...

Re: Crossing pics?
Here's a few more. I took quite a few other pics as well. Plenty of time to do that, unfortunately, but I still had a great time meeting and catching up with kiters from all over.

Ice out update, Lake of the Woods....
Saw the post below about iceout on Nokomis and had to chuckle to myself. I live about 30 minutes from the West shore of Lake of the Woods. Iceout? How about 3-4 ft of ice with about 8-10 inches of snow. Fishing has been good, and people drive pretty much wherever they want, at least as of today. Kit...

Re: Weekend Kiting?
What....giving up on snow already? We've got about a foot up here, and it ain't melting till next week. I spent about 2 hrs kiting in blizzard conditions yesterday. Didn't venture onto L.O.W though, although I'm sure it's fine yet, just not near the point in Warroad. Pretty much no wind today though...

Re: Cabrina info needed
Thanks for the tip JRN and thanks to everyone for all the info and comments. The Contra that I was looking at on ebay has been repaired in the area you described. Actually I'm leaning more towards a Crossbow. Or I may just wait and find a used T2, I know they're great kites.

Re: Cabrina info needed
Yup those are exactly the kites I'm looking at. Kites have been selling pretty reasonable on there as of late. You don't see too many used T2s for sale though.

Re: Cabrina info needed
First of all, I don't have any experience on water....yet. I weigh about 180 lbs. I do have an 11M T2 which I have some experience with. I've spend most of my snowkiting time on foils however. I'm thinking when I do get out on the water, I will be using the T2 and a big litewind board for learning. ...

Cabrina info needed
Hey all, I'm looking for opinions on a couple of Cabs, specifically an 07 Contra 14M and an 06 Crossbow 16. I'd really like to here about the pros and cons of each. Is one better than the other? I'm looking for a good reasonably priced lite wind kite. Any info or feedback would be great! 8) thanks, ...

Re: Heading north for eipc conditions
Some of my snowmobiling buds were up on Crane and Kabetogama lake this past weekend and mentioned that there was well over a foot of new snow there. Not much wind this weekend though

Re: Anyone else ever have this happen?
Thanks for the tip JRN. I didn't meet ya at the crossing, but met lots of other great folks. I think I might go with the Ozone Access harness without the spreader bar, no hook to catch anything on and just hook the chicken loop directly to the D-ring. People that have them seem pretty happy with bot...
