I fully concur with senor joe. The snow kiting was out of this world; it really put winter kiting on a different level. After watching the crazy French guys jumping off the huge hills and getting 20-30 sec of hangtime and flying who knows how high and far (50 feet up and 100 yards long?..hard to jud...

Just a shout out to all the folks in MN -- AP took home the cake at the Mammoth kite daze. He and I and Ken(he was at the kitefreeze in his teli skis) were the only real skiers and AP beat ALL the snowboarders at the event sponsored by a snowboard shop. Super cool, super nice people, amazing scenery...

I got to mtka around noon and they had already done 5 or six tows and by 4 pm we had done 4 more single tows and 4 tandem tows with AP at the helm; extra treat, AP let me fly the thing for a while, super cool.
