Lost Kite?
My 12M '06 Ozone Frenzy has disappeared from the backseat of my car. I had it as of 10:00 am on Tuesday, Feb 27 and it was gone the morning of Feb28. I had it at Diamond Lake, but never went kiting as the wind was pretty light. I'm nearly certain I didn't take the kite out of the car, but I'm also h...

Sturgeon Lake
Kited on Sturgeon today...snow was decent until about 2:00, then it deteriorated quickly to standing water...I would keep driving and head to Duluth.

Steve, I ride quite a bit in the summer and I'm always looking for company. It would be good to talk kiting in the real (vs. the virtual) world. Besides, the conversations with myself tend to be one-sided. Count me in. Tighe, I have an extra road/cross bike that you are welcome to use if we pull a r...

Steve - NO WORRIES...It's just good to know that this forum works...I can't believe the number of responses I received! I hope to see you out on the lakes. Tom - Yes, they're the white lines and they did seem to fray pretty easily. I'll take your advice and send some pictures to windwing. It sounds ...

Tom...It was about 1.5 hrs from Fairview to the University District in SLC. It's 14 miles up Hwy 31 from Fairview, so I'm guessing you could make it from Alta in about the same amount of time. It's hard to pull yourself away from Alta when the snow is good (which is most of the time!) but Skyline is...

Wow! I had no idea a simple question could elicit so much response. Let me assure you the question is most certainly not bogus. The name no chasta comes from the fact that I indeed bumped into Chasta at Skyline last Friday and came to realize quickly that...I'm nochasta. He absolutely blew our minds...

bridle line issues
HELP! I was kiting on Skyline Drive in UT this past weekend and borrowed my foil kite to a buddy. When the kite collapsed, he dragged it through the snow and now my bridle lines look like cotton candy. I waxed the lines to keep them from sticking, but they frayed and are now all different lengths (i...
