Winter fat and white flaky skin

Post by steveb »

Having put on a pair of shorts for the first time this year on Tuesday, and seeing what a decrepid state I have fallen into this winter, made me thank god I would be able to get the bike out on the road in the near future and try to burn some (plenty) fat.
I know quite a few boardheads ride and I was wondering if anyone would be interested in getting together for some weekend leasurely bike rides, every ride would have a wind clause of course.
The idea of riding and talking wind to while away the miles has an appeal.
Please give a nod if you would be interested.

I'd be interested Steve. I don't have a roadbike anymore but with some high pressure in my mountain bike I might be able to hold a draft.

Steve, I ride quite a bit in the summer and I'm always looking for company. It would be good to talk kiting in the real (vs. the virtual) world. Besides, the conversations with myself tend to be one-sided. Count me in.

Tighe, I have an extra road/cross bike that you are welcome to use if we pull a ride together.

Howdy, Howdy, Howdy, just became activated and wanted to get on the board. Living in and around the Anoka area and know of a couple nice bike riding places. Three Rivers Park has smooth paved trails and you really feel like your in the woods.
