Gull Lake was great this past Sunday.

Sounds like everyone drove this weekend and I walked out my door and onto Gull Lake sunday. There was some dust on crust conditions but the wind was blowing good and the sun was shining. Had a 4 wheeler to chase down people and relaunch my LF inflatables. There were 5 of us out front of my place and...

Gull was the spot today. I was second to arrive after Jerry. The spot was Hole in the day bay and I'm going to nickname today the "Hole in the Day Buffet" My reason is that you could basically pick the kite and size you wanted. 3m, 7.5m, My 9m that wouldn't fill, Todds 10, 11, 14m, Jason's...

The ice is getting close but I wouldn't rush it. Remember North Long Lake is the lake and the Bay that has had the Mystery Black Hole in the Ice. So if you do venture out make sure to stay in a safe area. The Cops and Fire Rescue guys for sure don't want to come to have to fish any of us kiters out ...

The Vio Sport Water cam works great. We've used it with the recording cam in a Pelican Case(water tight) with a hole drilled in it with the water proof cable sticking out. Make sure to Silicone the heck out of the hole in the case(your cable is permanatly in the case). The smaller the camers the bet...

Easter Sunday wasn't very windy but I still got out on Gull Lake for I'd say the Last snow/ice kiting of the season.

I actually had a dusting of fresh snow on saturday morning.

Can't wait to get out on the water now but its still a while out.

Another Gull Session!

We just got off of Gull Lake(frozen) from another nice kite session. Jason and Mel. from Kite Minnesota just came out and gave it a go. I thought it was pretty good considering the 60 degree temps today. The wind was weird but blowin'. We'll have photos to show soon I think. Hoping to go out again t...

I've got to say Todd, you've come up with a good thing. I had to take some time or take more time to get the hang of the Switchblade but it sure does the trick on the Ice.

Thanks for letting me ride the Kite and That board Jason! FUN day.

Kite Shops in Minnesota ans Surrounding States.

Whats up everyone? Just writing to see who shops where for what? I've recently picked up a few lines to REP in that wakeboard industry and one is NICE Bindings which has a Kiteboarding Binding available. I'm Interested in hearing if anyone has used this brand and if any shops know anything about the...

Lots of kites out there today, I'll be out tomorrow for sure if its blowing, Finally a day off.

Let me know the best way to get out on the ice from the east side.

Jason,

Where do you drive on the Yacht Club?

I spotted you fish house from my place but I don't have a sled or 4 wheeler to get there.

I'll have to get over there by car.

Let me know. Wind was light today. But enough to fly a little.

Who's on Gull Lake?

I was out on Gull Lake for my first Kiting Experiance today. I've lived on the lake in the past winters and never thought of or saw anyone kiting on the lake. Until this season, I got hooked up from Liqiud Force and Now I'm on a mission to learn to ride/fly this thing. During my testing period and f...
