Padre Bound
Hey Lakawa Padre Kite trippers,
Sent my board and wetsuit ahead,dont have any whale repellant packed, but what is a good first aid tip for jellyfish stings? 2 weeks and counting, looking forward to warm waters and kiting. Taking a follow-up lesson the first day with Air Padre and hopefully have a toast to progress during the island stay 11/28-12/3.

Ammonia works great for Jelly and string ray stings, actually thats what they teach you to use in Beach lifegaurd classes, used it a couple of times and its great if you don't have any. Steve B's ammonia works well too the organic remedy! Just make sure you keep him full of beer so he will have a ready supply ( See Steve I am always thinking of you

) The Basketball tourney has been going one in Padre the last 3 years we've been there and so far we haven't had any problems they are only there for the thurs-sun. I will be cancelling the room Monday so any one interested let us know.

Whoooo ha! Jodie and I will be down there Wed 11/26-Mon 12/1 and can't wait. It will be Jodie's first time with the kite, but she was doing great on the board behind the boat this summer.

I would be up for a downwinder perhaps on the surf side. Never tried it yet.

Can't wait to see everyone and get out and ride!

jellyfish stings - was told by locals to mix suncreen and meet tenderizer and spread on.

We've had lots of wind, big day yesterday, windsurfed and I was really wound up.

FYI the flats are really flooded, most people have had to fly at the south flats. Hopefully they will dry out some more for everyone, coarse most of you will have rentals.
