Staying connected, sharing the stoke
Does anyone here use twitter? http://www.twitter.com I think it would be a great tool for the wind junkie community. It's a web based SMS text messaging app. It allows you to send updates or "tweets" to the twitter website via your cell phone, IM client, or a plethora of third party twitte...

Hey Bryce, Pelican today?
Looks like a good day to sail from the south beach on Big Pelican. Anyone in that neck of the woods? I'll be there later today of the forecast is correct, NW 15-25.

Re: Breezy Point Resort on Pelican Today
I'm going to head out to breezy point resort to enjoy the southeast wind after work. ETA 4:30-5. Hey Bryce, do you know of any other good launch sites on that lake? I'm right across hwy 3 on Horseshoe just about every weekend through the summer. Horseshoe works great on SE days but nothing else. Ha...

help me pick a new board
Hello everyone. I'm replacing my old gear and I'm having difficulty choosing a new 'big' light air board. I'm coming from a Pacific Lightwind 280 150L. I have two boards in mind for replacement but can't decide. #1 is a JP X-Cite Ride 150L, and #2 is an RRD ZRide 135L. Both are the same price ~ $30....

If it blows you're welcome to launch from my parents cabin on Horseshoe lake, just east across hwy 3 from Big Pelican. The lake is much much smaller than Pelican or Long but works awesome for S-SE, my parent's cabin is on the east lake, east side of the point about 6 docks from the end. The shape of...

Yes I had a great time, a few of those blasts were a bit too much for my 6.5 but hey, what's a session without some overpowered rides right? Could you uphaul on that setup? Looks like you were going to have to swim in if it didin't cooperate. You mentioned you were just visiting right? I was very su...

to everyone that had to work, clean out the garage, mow the lawn, visit grandma, babysit the kids, and anything else that kept you from windsurfing today. Absolutely fantastic! I was up north sailing on the humble Horseshoe Lake just east of Big Pelican. Very nice high speed flat water session. It's...

Sailed on Pleasant Lake in Anandale (only sailor on the water). Wow was it blast’n. Rigged up the 6.5 and held on for dear life. All I could do was sail up-wind to dump off some of the power, obviously the 6.5 was too big. The gusts were insane and the lulls were terrible, I was either schloggin or ...
