Eric, Sorry I missed you. Chris Brown and I got to the point around 12:30, and it had a bit of South in it, so we went back to the wayside rest. Sailing while gassed

N20 and sailing? Could add a whole new dimension to sailing. I've never been a fan of south winds and thats what made wed. more remarkable. I won't be betting on it happening again for a long while. It's just comfortable sailing so close to home.Call me lucky this time because more often than not it...

The roadside rest area north of Hok-sa-la. There is a wind line like most other sites but once your in in the channel it can crank.

Pete, where were you?

Wed. was the biggest S. wind day I've experienced on Pepin. From 2PM on it was full on 3.5 M and steady. Large Rowena like swell in the channel.. Great to be in warm water and air with such a strong wind. :D

Beginners boards

I have a friend who would like to start windsurfing. I have sailed along time but I have not kept up on current trends in beginners boards. Does anybody know of some specific boards that they would recommend?
