I'm teaching a watersports class for kiteboarders. We utilize trampoline, wire and bungee systems to practice air and board skills. This class will help you master on-the-water skills much faster than you could by kiting alone. Why? Because in the time you can attempt 5 back rolls on the water, you can perform 50 back rolls on a trampoline, feeling the exact same forces and training the exact same muscle and motor skills.
Some of you know me already, but for those who don't, a little about me: I've been teaching gymnastics, acrobatics, trampoline, and circus arts for almost 15 years. I've been kiteboarding for 5 years and wakeboarding for a bit more. I've also been working in the stunt industry doing commercial and film work, as well as rigging wire stunts. About 2 years ago I started a stunt school to train stunt performers. I also started teaching board skills to snowboarders and wake and kiteboarders, and utilizing my stunt rigging skills to build and test apparatus for teaching various skills and techniques.
I guess the less professional, but more appropriate way of putting this is I like playing with cool toys and finding ways to use them to make learning easier, I like teaching other people to play with them too, and I'm pretty good at it!
So, that said, I'm teaching a very unique class for kiteboarders to help you improve your skills. It's really fun.
We're starting Thursday. The class runs every Thursday from 8pm-9pm, you can sign up anytime and it's 71$ a month, except for November, when I'll be gone for a week at least. I'm going to Padre

You can register at Gleason's Gymnastic School. The class is listed on the Eagan schedule under Xtreme sports and is called "Board Sports: Water"
Hope to see you there!
