For those looking for a cheap hotel in Padre, if you book before September 30th you can use this code for the Ramada, Travelodge or Motel 6:

I managed to use my AAA membership discount with this to get a double room at the Ramada with free breakfast and wi-fi for $39 a night!
It's no spa, but its a place to rest my head at night!

My house in Laguna Vista is available for rent Nov. 23-29 and Nov. 30-Dec. 7. 3 bedrooms, 2 bath, sleeps 6 or more. 5 minute from Holly, 20 minutes from North flats. $500/wk. I will be there Nov. 10-Nov. 23. May have some availble rooms during that time. Also have some camping space on Holly if the hurricane hasn't destroyed it!
