My garage might take both Thur and Fri to clean.

Leave some of it for next Monday and Tuesday. They both look warm and breezy - you don't want to be out in that, especially on a lake...

I would like to help clean your garage at Milley. Which location - Reddy or Malmo?

I need to do some distance to see if the crossing is going to kill me. Anyone up for a mini crossing?

I'm a windsurfer, so I do not really like Reddy because of the sandy rigging area and the sandbars, so if anyone wants to do a mini crossing, I'd be up to it but more than likely from Malmo, unless no one else is there... :(

I think that on Friday there won't be much wind up by ML or not last long. There will be wind down further on Friday.

Thursday looks real tight all over (ie isobars). I'm surprised noaa and exp look weak for the twin cities (ie forecasting 7-14 mph). I'm sure they'll come around and change their prediction.

I had to take a whole day off to clean my garage! Looks like I'm going to concentrate on the Southern portion today, and worry about the North part later.

I plan to be at Malmo by 12:30 tomorrow unless there's talk of Hunter's Point? The wind should be a consistent 14-16 knots until 5pm according to windguru...

Well we had the typical Ramsey winds...on, off , overpowered, barely planing, you name it. I was fine mostly on my 12, but Mike W. had more rides on his new TD 17. It faded steadily after 3, and I was too spent to pump up my 17. Got to demo MW's 13 rev, what a sweet kite. Was able to plane up in minimal winds, & it relaunched readily after a lull. Thanks for the free ride! I guess they really did do the waroo one better! Don't know if I'm a convert yet, but it is fun to try!

We had typical Mille Lacs winds today - steady as a fan! We kited out of Reddy but 3 of us went upwind to Malmo for a little adventure and then enjoyed the swell on the way back. What a beautiful day to go 52 miles in one session.

Terry - you left in the middle of our cleaning job!

Great day at Milley - made it to Malmo on my 8 but had to tack quite a bit. It was really fun. Thanks for waiting for me to tag along.

52 miles way to go Kevin. That's good crossing training.

Waconia was absolutely beautiful. It had been far too long since riding there.

14m session, 11m Rev session, then back on the 14 at sunset. nice.

Ooooh, I'm so jealous of your cleaning efforts at Mille Lacs yesterday! Debbie, that run to Malmo sounds like a blast! How was the water temperature?

I had my neoprene top on under my full wetsuit, booties and ski gloves. I was a little chilly when I reached malmo. The water is cold but the air was so warm and the sun was out that once you were up on the board, it was perfect. One of my best times at Milley. Cruising along the shoreline - I do like having a destination. I had my helmet on but still need to get a PFD. Didn't feel real safe without one.

Can't wait for the crossing -- you still in??

Left my booties there - anyone see them? Just another excuse to head up there next time the wind is blowing.
