Sunday kiting...

Post by Florida kiter »

Sunday's forecast looks great!! I'm planning on White Bear or Waconia around 1:00. Anyone need a ride from uptown?
If the winds turn ssw, which spot is better?

Does not look like it's going SSW but Waconia is better with any Westerly component to the wind. Both lakes ought to be great today.

Dusted off the old sailboard & managed to get a few runs with my old windsurfing buds over at Ramsey. Looked like a nice showing of kiters at Rutherford. Arthur, sorry my launch assist sucked so bad... I was glad to see you out riding in spite of my help. I thought I was seeing a mirage, but YEAAH... that was Coach out boosting some HUGE air off the point! Alex, sorry about the parking ticket...Note to all, only park in the car topper spots in the boat ramp lot. If you park in a trailer spot, you'll get a ticket....Also a trailer in the car lot will too. One of our windsurfing brethren got one for his trailer today, so be warned.
