We'll go to Waconia if the weather forecast stays the same...

I'm stuck in the Cities this weekend. Looks windy enough to get out my 105 L shortboard, head to Ramsey & see if I can still windsurf. Wish me luck!!

I suggest we all sit down tonight, set some patchouli or sandalwood a burnin, put on some light mood music (captain beefheart is one option) sit down in front of a picture of the buddha/Bob Marley/<your favorite deity>, get relaxed, close our eyes, and meditate on actualizing the following scenario: (may vary according to the individual, the weather is the main point)

< ohhhhhmmmm... >

It's sunday.. you're hung over .. feel the nausea wash over you as you reach for the corn syrup bottle, hoping for some relief.

Then you remember the forecast...

Oh wow, it hasn't changed at all since Friday night!

Still 90 degrees, sunny, no rain or lightning in sight..

And still 20 G 30! But wait.. you're mistaken.. You check your favorite weather site again..

The forecast has been bumped up.. 25 g 40 all day!! Holy moses!

You reach for your cellphone and call Kurt. It's only 9 am, but he has already been out for two different sessions, one from 5am to 7 am, the other from 8 - 9.

You pack your bags and head for Rutherford/Malmo/the Waconia boat launch.

I have never sailed on Mille Lacs and am heading that way regardless on Mon.... Anyone going to Mille Lacs? What are some good places to sail on a SSE wind?

Click on the lakes section: Reddy Creek works on a SE as does Garrison. If you have a shorter wave or weed fin, bring it to avoid sand bars & shallows. Have Fun!

Cool, I've never sailed Mille Lacs before and don't want to show up anywhere that I will be the only one on the water.
So I will either be at either be at Garrison or Flake Mon. :D
Thanx for all the recommendations

I'll be heading up to Reddy tomorrow and staying through Monday (I'm not sure where -- are there motels in Garrison?)

Cheers,
