Green Lake @ Spicer trip review 8-22 to 8-23

Post by smallcar-windsurfer »

The lake was great - nice size swells and great windsurfing. I was upset I damaged my board, I was enjoying the jumps too much and pulled one of the foot strap screws out along with part of the board. Nothing a little reisin cant fix though. Thankfully my board has several positions for those footstraps and I just moved it back one. I temparily filled the hole with goop which kept the water out so i could continue windsurfing the remander of weekend.

We stay'd at camp ground county 5 on the northeast corner, which also worked good for luanching from for the wind direction.

There was one local windsurfer on the lake - she said this lake is under uitlized and maybe sees one other windsurfer on the lake each year. We were surpised to hear that given it is listed on this site.
