Kiting in the Cities this weekend?
Should I bring my kites when we head down this weekend? Slushy Watery mess? Or is it still pretty good?
Re: Kiting in the Cities this weekend?
Calhoun looked rather nice this AM (Friday) on my drive-by. The heavy snow is gone, no water on the ice. Nice wind as I type at 2:30pm (SW13G18).

Bryce - make sure you bring your 16
I'd bring your stuff - White Bear has been looking pretty decent since most of the water has been absorbed by the lake. If the rain holds off it could be fun but Sunday looks like it might be wet.

Hey Bryce, I'll be on Calhoun early afternoon Saturday. Sunday looks like an inch of rain.
See you there.

I had a great sunset session on WB from mahtamedi beach Ramsey had a 5 foot border of water to jump and hope the ice holds I wasnt willing to try it. Calhoun still has ice up to the shore on the south end the north and west have 3ft or more of water. If theres wind I'll be on calhoun in the morning.
