Tomorrow?

Post by shera »

Want to head out after work tomorrow, anyone know about the north side of Calhoun? Making the trek to WBL durning rush hour sounds horrible.

Hoping the warm weather doesn't melt all of the snow!

I was out on the south side of calhoun Easter morning and it was in sweet shape...couple inches of untracked buttery powder, and not too wet either. Wind was another story, but it doesn't look like that will be a problem tomorrow! I'm going to try and head out there after work, 6-ish.

A reliable source told me he checked the ice in a number of spots and its between 22in. - 28in. Just be careful around storm drains. and keep eyes peeled for easter eggs. :D

Hello johny Z....I was on the wac last friday. The lake had excellent snow cover 5-6 inches of new snow. Flying the big 16m Wazoo that day, it was sweet.

Anybody up for a am session at Waconia Tues? Looks like the winds are suppose to hold.

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a well-preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up,totally worn out and loudly proclaiming. WOW! What a ride!!

Great couple of days up at the Bear.

Yesterday was a nice long surprise. Note to self: Don't try riding unhooked if you don't have a leash....thanks Max and Geoff for grabbing my kite.

Today was super windy up at Ramsey. I had a student that just wouldn't give up in the strong winds and was getting some good rides in towards the end. Gave me a few scares though.

Little Max was looking super dialed. Jumping and landing 5-10 footers!!!....that's double head high for him! Looking good Max!!! Keep it up.

Always good to have young ones out in the wind. Great energy. Kayla was rippin in tow behind Katie today. Looked like a lot of fun.

More tomorrow and more snow on Friday. I don't hear any fat lady singing yet.

Sorry, I didn't check the chat this morning. I was on the lake by 9am. There was still about 3 inches of crusty snow with steady winds 13-18mph. By the time I quit 11:30, it was getting sloppy and wet. I'm hoping it holds up for another week or so. These have been some of the best conditions so far!
