Did anybody get some??
Arthur and I gave calhoun a shot yesterday. Lots of gusty wind. 7 - 35 mph. Used a small waroo and we both took a short ride--being somewhat short on time. The surface was marginal for snowboards. Glad to be out again, wish we'd had more time to screw around. I know everybody's jonesin.

7 WAROO
DAVE, Pumped up the 7 wr yesterday. Last time out it had a slow LE leak
and it started flying weird when the LE pressure dropped. In the meantime I added a v-bridle pulley on the rear lines in addition to the front line stopper knots. Even in all that wind it did just fine. I think the difference was heeding Stroh's advice: I pumped the LE pressure up to about 10. Thought you might try it on your 7 and see! Then I had some very sketchy runs off Bellaire thanks to the wind blowing away the snow and exposing alot of icy patches. Hope to find where all that snow ended up & ride there. Glad you & Arthur got some runs, though. JRN

Steve I was riding a red and white TD for a couple of hours Sunday. I parked on the south beach by the Porta Potty. Were you riding the yellow and red Ozone? That kite was featured on several local and national news casts. You were refered to as soooooo hardy and manly! I left about 4. It was great getting out. The surface was fairly good considering. I could have use some cold temp glider wax.

Dean, so close yet so far, I was in that corner near the parking, I had two guys out on little 4m Access kites, one green red and yellow and the other black ,gray and white, the 10m was Al I think.I was so busy with the 2 guys I was teaching I never got to ride.
I saw your kite just didn't know it was you.
I was out there from 11 to 4pm , it was not bad at all until I had to take my gloves off to help guys with kites and harnesses. Beautiful bright sunshine glorious day, just not bikini weather, which is a bummer as I look so good in the bright sunshine in the right bikini.
