Oof da! Are you going? I've always had the s$#t kicked out of me when it's gone over 40 knots. Thinking Mille Lacs may be a little more my pace, but would love to experience the monster waves if you got a posse heading that way. Keep us posted.

My best days ever have been at port wing. I'm IN!! I gotta work at 6pm unless I can wriggle out of it. I will head out after I wake up (I work until 2 AM) if the forcast holds. Randy, you haven't had the @#$% kicked out of you since junior high.

Because of the long pier, it is SO much easier than the tot lot to get out and in to those waves

I am AMPED! Gotta go take a few sedatives and calm down. I usually have to put cold wash cloths on my wrists and forehead after reading that "GALE WARNING IN EFFECT"

Woo Hoo!

I'm still trying to get my times down with my family. I think I can leave Duluth by 10 or so, If it stays westerly that peir will protect our launch. If it goes true NW it will be onshore. I hope it stays WNWish, SICK PORT RAMPS!!!!!!!!!!!! Chris, this is the best way to get in touch with me until I get back in town tomarrow.Let me know what your thinking. 11 to 16ft and gale force winds will be a bitchin' for the first time in the waves this year. The only other time I sailed was that nukin' day in the bay! Strap em on boys!!!

Judd and I should be up there between 11 and noon. Can't believe I'm being tempted to 16' waves by an ER doc.

WAVES BUILDING TO 11 TO 16 FT. That is a difference of 5'. I suppose when you get past 10', it is "all good", eh?

Sounds incredible, and I'd LOVE to get my #&$^ kicked (even while Randy was carving it up like a ginsu knife), but there are only 5 things that are keeping me in town. At least I won't have to see it from my window, right, Ben? Have fun, bring back pix and stories.
