Check the "lake" section on LAKAWA and follow the links for Duluth - the park at the end of the point works for S, SW to NW winds. The beach side of Park Point works for N to E or sometimes NW or SE.. Its still blowing NE pretty good this morning.
I'll be recovering from yesterday's session for quite a while.
Actually the lake can get quite comfortable with the right wind direction (and air temperature) Yesteday the lake was probably 70 degrees and the air was about 58.... great for swiming but cold when you get out. The lake temp peaks in September..
