So, how was it?
I could not get away today. For some reason I need to know what I missed! I spent the day at the Gray's Bay Marina watching cement dry. Minnetonka was frothing all day. It was tourture.
I had a large job on Big Marine Lake. North of Hugo pretty cool lake actually looked good for anything with a Northerly to and easterly. They are currently building a beach/park on one side.
Was pretty agonizing watching all the whitecaps while I worked though.
and I just found out I have tomorrow off! someone screwed up the schedule!

The real pro isnt the one who doesn't make a mistake. The real pro is the one that does the best job hiding it!

Forecast said 15-20. Well, I thought, I'll just bring my 9.0 and 7.5 then...........................
Spent most of the day taking an ass whoopin' on the 7.5, finally settling in somewhat as it came down later in the day. I think most people were on 5.3 to 6.3. Anyway, I think I'll call that sesh the workout program for the week.
Repeat after me.................bring all your gear no matter what, especially if its a four hour round trip to the lake.

I got to Waconia yesterday at 9:30 AM and when out on the 12 nemi and 122sx
Had some of the biggest jumps to date. Went to work and returned at
6:00 and Dave C was just launching, pumped up the 14 and sessed
for an hour or so. Great day watching Peter Hill just kill it on the pole board, wow that guy can ride!

Chris,
Thanks for not letting me be the only one kicking themselves for not bringing the small gear. Yes bring all your gear no matter what! I spent the day at Wac on my 14m SB2 while watching all the 9ms go out. Still had enjoyable rides even though I was sheeted out and practiced speed control edging with the board so not as to build more apparent wind into the kite. The one nice thing about being overpowered is the power is always there if you want it and it can make for some lofty jumps.
I was suprised to see the beach empty of the regulars so early, when there was pleanty of wind left - is this a sign that we have had alot of wind this season ?
