There used to be a site called kitefinder. A person would fill out a form with what they were looking for and retailers would respond if they had the kite and with the $$ info. Does anyone know if that site still operates?

Haven't seen it in awhile. Not sure, maybe the industry really frowned upon it. Gives the big players, who buy massive volumes of product, an unfair advantage. And destroys the local shops, many of whom have the lesson programs which are growing the sport.

I thought it was a good idea. Remember wishing I had thought of it.

AND...shop local. I know for a fact that all the shops locally will do their best to meet or beat any price found elsewhere.
