White Bear today

Hey everyone,

New guy here to the boards, just curious if anyone is planning on flyin on WB this afternoon? Hoping the wind forecast holds, appears around 12-15 or so. Guess we'll see if that holds

Yep will be at Rutherford Park 3ish.

Is anyone else getting the vague inkling that avery is excited about Rutherford or is it just me? lol

Yeah, I picked up on that too. Strangely, I have spent many days on WB over the past 14 yrs and for some reason never knew about Rutherford so I am a little excited to scope it out. Unfortunately I won't make it up there from work until 5:30ish.

Looking forward to meeting some of you in person hopefully.

I'll be getting there about 6ish, so you're not alone. I'm gonna check Ramsey first and see how it looks. I'm windsurfing so Ramsey is still reasonable for me as long as I have a 6 foot gap to sail through the line of boats that are always moored there. (GOSH I hate those boats...) I think that area at Ramsey should be designated an official small craft launch area. Think the county would entertain the idea? Then it would be illegal for boats to anchor there. We could start writing down registration numbers. Oh how I would love to wade out there with a pen and paper! lol
