Just "plane magic"!

All of you guys are probably used to this, but Life felt sooo good today when everything came together and I got some of the longest planing time ever. I was even able to start going upwind a little and take baby jumps before crashing and being dragged downwind.

There was a bunch of other kiters on Ramsey beach helping me launch and land my kite. Thanks guys. Had an awesome time. :D

Very impressive kiting, Denis! You held your line very well. Quick learning. Too bad you settled for a SS instead of my Airblast. It doesn't appear to be holding you back too much :) We need some locals to start sending in some Slingsluts. Come on SS owners! Show your corporate loyalty.

I have a whole new respect for all of you who are learning to kite (and learning to rip!) in the Minnesota conditions. Yesterday was my first (kite) session at home since picking up the sport nine months ago on Oahu. I always figured it would be tougher here, but that was incredible! I got beat up for three hours and am now ready to hobble home to the gentle, predictable trade winds.

Great job out there, Denis. Stick with it. Those are seriously challenging conditions - you can handle that you can kite in just about anything. Good to see and meet the guys who have it dialed in here, too. Joe and Alex were doing some serious boosting in the gusts! Everyone feel free to drop me a line if you want a place to crash in Kailua.
