New guy looking to windsurf on Sunday

Post by Jan »

Hello all,
It looks like it will be a good day on Sunday. Does anyone have a recomendation as to what lake will be good ? I live in Eden Prairie and so far I have only sailed once in the twin cities area, on Waconia, last year. I am looking for high wind, bump and jump conditions.

Hey Jan, make sure to ask again tonight and tomorrow. I was out at Green Lake today but now I'm just barley able to type messages. It was nice and windy out there.

Check in here again tomorrow morning. I don't have a place to sail yet but will figure it out tomorrow..

later,

Lots of choices for SE going East:

Pepin should be killer. Experimental's showing 25 knots around 4pm.

White Bear Lake - Ramsey if its SE, Bellaire if its East.

Park Point in Duluth - water's 32/33 degrees!

Wack up on the north side by the tracks - sketchy parking.

Heck, Mille Lacs will probably be awesome tomorrow too.
