The original Samurai has become a legendary kite and a best seller, suitable for a wide range of riders seeking a combination of performance and stability. The Technical Stuff…..

Our design team set out to improve all areas of the kite and make this 2nd generation even more performance orientated yet still keeping the easy handling and predictable nature of the Samurai. The Samurai II is the ultimate buggy kite thanks to its high performance and inherent stability. It stays in the air even when a buggy rider makes simple mistakes when jibing or running straight downwind, making this the ideal kite to have in any quiver. On a bar the Samurai II provides direct and solid power that is forgiving and easy to control, providing an excellent kite for learning to Kiteboard and Snowkite.



Stability has been improved by closing two cells in the center of the profile. This helps the Samurai II keep its shape when entering turbulence. The closed cells in the center of the kite also make the airflow cleaner over this important part of the aerofoil section. Combined with the higher Aspect Ratio design, the Samurai II is far more aerodynamically efficient.
The wind range of each size is also greater than before. The Samurai II flies faster and has an increased upwind ability over its predecessors.
New Planform and design has increased the low end torque and horsepower in each size.
The stall has been improved by changing the planform and line plan. This makes for a clean and easy stall making landing the kite much simpler.
To increase turning speed and to evenly spread loads across the chord of the Samurai II we have added internal V–Ribs to the center cells.
Ozone’s innovative “Butt Hole’s” have been incorporated into the trailing edge wingtips to make removing sand and debris easy. Every rib inside the samurai 2 has a unique channel in the trailing edge to allow any debris or sand inside the kite to collect at the tips for easy removal through the Butt Hole.


Who is this kite designed for? : The Samurai II is the ultimate performance-intermediate kite for kiters wanting the highest performance available yet not wanting to compromise on stability. Big selling feature, how can you have a kite without one. All my kites come with the Butt hole as an add on, the butt hole attaches to the chicken loop and goes kiting!.
