Nathan, Matt and Hunter made a great terrain park, though wouldn't you know it, the winds clocked around to a direction that favored the opposite side of the lake. The downwind side of the lake was full of color with everyone rippin around going off. Everyone is getting really good. Bares was going way up and floating forever. Chris B was styling with his blind to blind rolls...on skis! Eric, Jerry and Stroh were nailing 360s and 720s all over the place...looking good. Matt k. was going for it as always, doing stuff I can't even describe usually with a kite loop thrown in. Hunter and Weston were ripping around, boostin'. So many smiling faces. Alex, Gary and Darlene were rapidly shedding their rookie status and were looking very dialed. Our students did great, Hunter's hot dogs rocked, the sun was out...damn, just a really good day.
thanks to everyone who helped out with our students.
Hopefully it will continue today and hopefully the winds will be better for the great rails and sliders that they've made.
Great Day at Swede Yesterday

Had a bad arm so I couldn't ride much. Glad I could to help with terrain park though. I spent the rest of the time helping people out with their gear and taking pictures. A collection from Sunday is here:

Build um and they will come. Great turnout for a fun weekend of kiting. Thanks Nathan, Matt, Hunter, Denis and plow truck guy and anyone else who helped put the Kitefreeze Unplugged unofficial event together. I didn't dare try the rails and stuff, but managed to line up on the jumps a few times. It's not as easy as it looks. It was cool to see all the kites on a little lake.

Awesome weekend at swede for sure. Another fun windy day on sunday, Eric and I were really powered on 13s in the morning, then it died off in the afternoon a little but we were all still riding.
For the people who couldnt get out the the park its definately worth checking out. Even if you havent hit a jump or rail before and dont think that you want to, there is such a variety that anybody can find a rail or jump for their skill level and it has a perfect spread to continue to push yourself from there. Nathan, Matt and Dennis did an awesome job designing it and putting it all together.
