Sounds like west and NW parts of the cities have the best cover. I've heard fields just beyond Tonka are still snow covered and Diamond lake has good snow cover on it.
Diamond lake is up near Anoka. WBL was tolerable on Sunday. Upwind of Ramsey had 80% snow but it was soft in some spots. Ramsey bay was mostly ice on top of slush, on top of ice. Be very careful riding in this stuff, you can easily catch an edge and go down.
Unfortunately I'm not sure if there is a northern launch on Diamond. The only launch I know of is on the SE side of the lake.
from what I've seen so far it looks like the wind isn't going to pick up until thursday night. looks good the rest of the weekend.
if it blows I'll be there.
