New Here

Post by ottothecow »

I'm new here. I have a star-board go that was purchased last summer along with a 7.5 Retro (I also have a smaller used Niel Pryde but I cant remember the model or size).

I havn't really done any windsurfing around here (couple weeks last august on lake michigan with the GO as well as previous years with an ancient longboard) but I plan to. I just picked up a set of roof-racks today with hopes that they would be enough incentive help me to get out there--probobly just to calhoun for now--since its pretty hard to do anything when you cant get the rig to a lake.

Welcome Otto, Great to have another pole boarder in the area. Hope you can get out soon and enjoy the local lakes. I started learning at Calhoun. It has a great group of people that always seem to have just the advice you need to keep progressing. I mostly sail out of White Bear Lake now, but I try to travel around to check out new lakes as much as possible.
Anyway, If its blowing like mad and you can't seem to get your gear to the lake, post something and you will probably find someone willing to help make sure you can get a ride to the lake.
see ya at the lake KEvin
