I wouldn't rely on the winds at Mille Lacs on a hot steamy day but at least the lake is there to stay cool and if your kiting you don't need much wind. It is cranking in the 20s mph in Brainerd and Aitkin - could be storm driven. Have fun up there.

Your right Kevin, both of you. The forcast is loking good (sort of) for this weekend, especially sunday. I just got off the water at reedy where the wind was great for about two hours, then just totally died. Might get out again later if it looks promising.

If anyone wants to come up and try their luck today, they are more than welcome to stay at my house and enjoy the whole day on sunday. I live about 6 miles north of malmo. I'll be out at reedy today with a silver volkswagon. Heak, we could even make a party out of it, if enought people show up. This afternoon is also shaping up and I want to get out there. See you on the water.

Eric

I am in Mora now to work for a few hours. I am dying to get on the water. Just picked up a new board and it needs to get wet soon!!! I will probably head for Mille Lacs if there is any chance for some rides. If you have a chance of posting an update on the current conditions , it would be greatly appreaciated.
I would be up for a little R and R after an afternoon session.
