20$ skis!

Post by Mike W »

Sportmart just put out a bunch of vintage 1980's skis for $20 a pair. They are long with straight edges, so they are ideal for kiting. I just bought a couple pair.

Ummmm...... I just changed my boot/ ski setup this year.. I used to have an old cheap pair of straight skis, but my boots were too short for my size 14 feet... well, my new boots wouldn't fit in the old bindings and the local ski shop wouldn't adjust them, Soooo..... I bought a used pair of shaped skis (with decent bindings) and I really like them better than the straight skis (but I really don't know how to ski either)... Anyway, these are lighter, have twin tips (for going backwards - by accident for now, but someday I may perfect the skill) They turn Much better for me and seem to hold on edge just as well - for me - They are K2 Enemy's if anyone cares... :-)
So.... I've got an old pair of straight skis if someone needs them, otherwise, play it again has them for cheap also ...

Now.... If someone could teach me to snowboard??? :-)

Thanks Mike.
I just picked up a pair. I also picked up a pair of 163 twin tips for $99.00.
