If the weather holds off does anyone want to make a trip down to Cannon for the morning.

Great. I am planning on leaving Rochester around 8 am or so( Get to Cannon around 9 am). I will probably rig up on the South end of the lake on the beach area. Call me on my cell phone if you desire (507)251.6476

The wind is very squirly at the South beach on a South wind Jim. Be careful. I remember once when I was just going to do a body drag from there I put the kite up and it fell out of the sky and blew upwind and back on shore. I think the wind rolls over the trees and hill to the south. What we ended up doing was putting the kite in the water LE down and let it pull us out 100 feet or so and then water relaunch it. The wind was much cleaner out there.

The side launch is better for the wind but worse for rigging and getting to the water.

Hope to see you down there. I won't be down till later in afternoon.
