just drove by Big Spirit and the ice is gone!!! a few small chunks floating, but todays 30mph winds will take care of that...

can't wait for the shrinkage and first session of the year, give casey or i a call if anyone is coming down for some cold water riding....

Jesse, Thanks for the post, I was curious after driving by my local lake in MPLS. still totally frozen over, if it was clear in the south. I can't believe it's open already, woo hooo. See you down there on the next decent windy day. Joe V

I'm not sure what you're getting at with "can't wait for the shrinkage," but I'm hoping it's windy down there next weekend! :-D

I can't hear that term without thinking about Kostanza's "shrinkage factor." Can't help but chuckle,anyway! Thanks for brightening my day. :lol: :P :wink: :D :roll: :!:

Keep your eye on Spirit if you need a ride Saturday. She's wide open and the forcast was just up-ed to 19 from the North and a high of 52F.
