Dawn Patrol Thursday for Fox TV

Post by Tighe »

Fox TV is wanting to get some shots of some riders for it's moring show on Thursday 7-9am...eeks I know. I think if a few of use could get out and ride in Wayazata bay, even if just cruising, would be great. I think we could plug the event and generate some interest. Who's game for a dawn patrol?

Michael F., Mike B and I are just itching to ride. Not much more practice time before the KiteFreeze. Winds look a little on the light side. We'll be there around 6:30 with big kites. Might even try to stack 'em.

I talked to Tighe - he is sans-internet right now, but said we're definitely on for tomorrow morning. Hopefully the wind shows up, too.

It looks like the wind might cooperate: http://itg1.meteor.wisc.edu/wxp_images/ ... es_h24.gif

Hunter,
I can pick you up if you want, although I don't know how your mom feels about a stranger carting away her son.

If you can't find a ride with somebody you know, you can call me on my cell in the morning 612-275-5646 if it's o.k. with your folks.

Thanks for the offer but my mom decided that i should problably just go after school and not miss my english class. The wind doesn't look favorable on the places that i check(I have no idea what the graphs and lines and colors mean) but afternoon looks awsome. Hope to see you wayzata bay after school!

We definitely need a few bodies out there tomorrow morning. I'll be there, probably using a large kite.

If you can make it out, please do. It's not exactly an great time slot, but it's the only time they can do it. Help promote your sport! :-)
