yEAH.....I last windsurfed on Saturday...Nov. 16th on Lake Cannon. Sunny Blue Sky day. About 14 cars in the lot.
There as a an open space for me to park right up to the water's edge. Wow, already 10 sailors out there..on this beutiful (almost Summer looking day) but was really temp. wise around 48 to 501 degreees. Wind blowing from the South/SE at sustained wind of 22 mph and gusts up to the "usual" 40 mph.
By 1:30 PM I was already kind of late. Wind was started to tamper off. I rigged a 5 meter,,,had some good runs for 30 minutes, then time to change
sails. I decided to put on my 6.9 meter (don't want any "lull" moments), but when I took it out of the bag it was my 7.5 meter Ezzy! Oh well you sail with what you got!! Anyway my 7.5 sail is my smaller wave sail!
The bigger sail did keep sailing with NO LULL MOMENTS. Everybody left by 15:53 pm. I sailed till dark.
Members of this riding posse were: Pete, Eric D., Bill S., Mike W. Doug W., some others, and two Wing sailors.
Two days later on Monday, Pete, Doug W. and Mike W. sailed Lake Byllsby. They say it was good for the first hour but then had to finally schlogg in when wind reduced it's speed.
Next few days look very cold and low wind energy.
quetzalcoatl out.

Crazy that you were on a 7.5 that day–-I weigh more than you and was fully lit on a 4.2 and 85l wave board! I left at 3pm and the wind didn't back off at all, at my house 15 min. away it was still gusting to the low 40's at dark. Ride on!

Thanks Bill for your comments.
YOU know how to really "Dial In" squeeze out every onze of Sail power with the smaller gear!
I on the other hand tend to sort of "cheat" and down hall (over maxed)..thus the 7.5 sail is just so easy to control (or too easy) and it's basically
planning on the gusts. But really I had NO dull (lull) moment. I was planning the whole time. Sailing till dark doesn't mean very much (for TOW) at this time of the year,,,,because by 4:30...it's completely dark!
