Flipped sail around so fast...I grabbed the boom again with two hands is this called....

On Tuesday of Last week at Eagle Lake, Near Mankato, when jibing, I flipped the sail so fast that the boom (once coming around) came right back
to my TWO hands, and I grabbed it! Is this what's called Gybing like a hero? Well, it felt good, maybe it's wrong but I liked it!
