For your information: Lake Rathbun, IA has open Water.
Well, on the other hand SO Does Lake Superior and parts of the Mississippi.
But, the difffernce is that the air temp is better in Southern Iowa. It'll be 42 degrees on Sunday on Lake Rathbun with
a 14 mph wind (or 10 to 20 mph).

Nothing like a Christmas Eve Sail (almost eve).
