Winter is over! Week of Jan. 15-20th temps in 40's above

Lake City, MN Will have several days in the 40's above zero.(week of Jan.15th) even one day it will hit 46 degrees.
Des Moines, IA (just three driving hours away) will be in the 50's! (Jan. 16th and 17th).
Well, don't despair,,,for the Winter Kitesurfers and Iceboaters you can still go out on the ice since it's quite

thick now. in fact...Iceboating (in the past) I've usually gone iceboating in my DN when ice grew thick and

air temps in the thirties. But if the warm spell persists for more than a week than it's best to stay off.

Oh wait.....temps. in the 40's....that means I can go "WINDSURFING" (liquid water) just downstream from

Camp La-Coup-O-Lous, Mn on the Mississippi. All I need now is wind in the mix. M,mmm I think I'll put up

a real "perdy" Ruby Red sail 9.0 and formula board so that the "Peeps" up on the "Vista lookouts" can easily look
