While Eric keeps yearning for December open water, I am thinking ice. Time to dig out the padding, sharpen up the blades, and think ice!!!! The freeskate iceboard is the ultimate rush in my book. It combines the low drag dynamics of iceboating with the freedom of windsurfing. If you have never tried it, it is super easy compared to windsurfing, jibes are long and fast, just important not to fall too much. And the best part, no shlogging.
