Cedar Lake.... Cristian
Cristian. The lake got good and cold so the new moisture froze nice and solid. There is 1 to 2 inches of new snow on top. Now all we need is some of that wind stuff.
Let me say, from first hand experience, the snow on the lake IS FLUFF. The lake has been seemingly Zambonied and is so righteously skatable it isn't funny. Well, actually, it is funny. I was laughing up and down this afternoon when the southeasterlies finally blew enough to give me some rides. I don't believe it would be much for skis or a board, but for blades it is as good as it can get. Of course, the way things have gone thus far this winter, that could all change by tomorrow. Cmon out, the water's solid!

HI Steve
Thanks for the update. I went to White Bear today, but there was no wind. The ice was solid and smooth with a few patces of snow. I went back, got the kids and went skating. Those leather hockey skates I got in Denmark when I was 17 still works!
I would love to come up and kite with skates. Let us see what the weather man does. Would be a great way to blow those champagne boobles out of your head.
Happy New Year !
