I think we hit the summer doldrums… looks like there is a possibility for a big kite sesh on Waconia today. I’m debating if it’s worth leaving work early and making the hour drive each way for a slight chance of an enjoyable session….

It is gone for sure. Last Saturday I took my 11 year old to a school for barefoot skiing. Epic conditions all morning and we did not get one wisp of wind until 12:40, and the class was over at 1 pm. It sucked to be a kiter on that day, but fantastic conditions for barefooting. When life gives you lemons, make lemonaide.

I am back from NY for a week so I decided to bring my gear with me hopping to get at least one day out on the lakes!
