Picked up a Jay Dynabar sliding harness bar/hook in SPI last fall to help my toeside & directional riding. It did help some but found it made jumping tougher probably due to one more variable to deal with. However have used it all winter and found it a great improvement for kiting with skis. Just seems to make everything smoother and less stress on body. The biggest difference I noticed was no knee pain even after a long sessions. At first I thought my knees must be in better condition this year (little chance!) so I switched back to my fixed hook for one session & sure enough the pain came back. Assume that since it slides there is less torque/twist on your body hence less pain on joints. Just thought I would share in case others have spent years abusing their knees and are looking for improvements that do not require pain killers post session!
They are pretty expensive but in hindsight well worth it for me.
