Can anyone confirm safe ice on any city lakes like Nokomis or Hiawatha?

U R RIGHT, CHUMLEY! I walked MK's baby elephant around the jogging path today. It was lured out onto the ice by a group of shameless figure skaters, and, tragically, fell through 1/2 way out. :cry: It should be on the channel 13 news tonight. :mrgreen:

I sailed from the south side to the north side of Calhoun yesterday without falling through so it seems good! there is that ridge going across the middle of the lake though which always makes me nervous.
