Labor Day weekend...KO, your thoughts?

Post by reutersju »

Guys,

Here is what I see as of right now on my unisys app. I see a well developed low over northern MN and NW WI, trailed by a less developed high. There is also a big temperature shift from sunday to monday which is promising! It will definitely be windy in that region on Labor Day Sunday I'm guessing winds 15-20mph but I'm unsure of direction. My thought is that the counterclockwise rotation of the low coupled with the clockwise rotation of the high could pull wind from the NE but I'm not sure if the high is strong enough. If its not I would expect winds from the SE in the morning and tapering off late afternoon as it seems the low is moving relatively quickly to the east.

Those are just the thoughts of a rookie Jedi.

Kevin O...what are your thoughts master yoda?

Good call! I replied to Robs post earlier in the week and didnt see yours. I saw and thought the same thing as you. It's amazing how accurate that 10 day mrf is at identifying breezy- windy days 5-7 days in advance.

May the wind be with you!!!
